An overtime win for Concordia and Indiana Wesleyan’s top-five victory results in MSFA Mideast League Player of the Week honors for the Cardinals and Wildcats in Week 7.

Offensive Player of the Week
Seeger DeGayner, Concordia
Jr., WR, Grand Blanc, Mich. (Linden HS)

  • Caught three passes for 38 yards and two TDs in Concordia’s 23-16 win at Siena Heights
  • Caught the game-winning TD pass in overtime to lead the Cardinals over the Saints
  • Earns his first career MSFA Offensive Player of the Week award, and his third Player of the Week honor overall

Defensive Player of the Week
Devin Bacchus, Indiana Wesleyan
Sr., LB, Homewood, Ala. (Homewood HS)

  • Made eight tackles in No. 7 Indiana Wesleyan’s 17-10 win at No. 5 Marian
  • Grabbed an interception and finished with a tackle for loss
  • Earns his first career MSFA Defensive Player of the Week award

Special Teams Player of the Week
Casey Rauch, Concordia
Jr., P, Alexandria, Ky. (Campbell County HS)

  • Punted 10 times and averaged 41.8 yards per punt in the Cardinals’ 23-16 win at Siena Heights
  • Placed two punts inside the 20
  • Earns his third career MSFA Special Teams Player of the Week honor, and his first this season
