Bethel MBB improve to 5-0 with 85-72 win vs Holy Family

MISHAWAKA – The Bethel University men’s basketball team survived a hard-fought game against a feisty Holy Family squad, winning 85-72 on Saturday afternoon. TreVion Crews led the way with his first double-double of the season, going for 17 points and 10 rebounds.

  • “Our team did not come to play with the right mentality today, and that’s on me as a coach. It is my job to make sure our guys are ready to play and we were not tonight. Holy Family was much more ready to play and deserved to win the game. We are a new team with a lot of new guys and are learning how to play the right way. We will continue to grow and get better, coaches included. I thought Keonte Jenkins and Life Granville played with the most consistent effort. We need more guys to play with their mentality. We look forward to preparing for the College of the Ozarks who will be a challenge to play next Friday.”
