Bethel Men’s Soccer starts the 2024 season ranked sixth in the NAIA Preseason Poll

MISHAWAKA, Ind. (August 14, 2024) — The Bethel Pilots Men’s Soccer team will
begin the 2024 season ranked sixth in the NAIA Preseason Coaches Poll, reflecting their
impressive performance in the 2023 season.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Thiago Pinto, the Pilots concluded the 2023 season with
an outstanding record of 18-3-3, including a perfect 7-0-2 mark in Crossroads League play.

Their remarkable season was highlighted by capturing both the Crossroads League
Championship and the Crossroads League Tournament Championship.

In the 2023 NAIA National Championship, held in Wichita, Kan., Bethel earned a notable
victory over #13 Westcliffe (Calif.) before falling to the eventual national champion, #18
MidAmerica Nazarene, in a hard-fought contest.

The Pilots, a perennial powerhouse in NAIA soccer, are set to build on their successful
2023 campaign as they aim to take another trip to the NAIA National Championship that
will be held at the Scheels Stryker Athletic Complex in Wichita, Kan. for a second year.
