Bethel Men’s Soccer Wins 2025 Regular Season Crossroads League Championship

MISHAWAKA, Ind. —The No. 4 Bethel Pilots (13-2-2) were named the 2025 Regular Season Crossroads League Champions on Wednesday evening following their 2-0 win over the No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats (10-3-4, 5-1-3) amidst senior day festivities. 

Seniors Mathis NeuhausThiago dos SantosLucas LimaIsaac HernandezDiego RodriguezFelipe GonzalezDani SuarezAndres DixonDavi Tavares, and Nicolo Tocco were all recognized prior to the matchup for their contributions to the Bethel Men’s Soccer Program. Additionally, former Athletic Director Tony Natali was celebrated for his dedication to the program from 2019 until he the announcement of his retirement earlier this year. 

Diego Arrieta netted the first goal of the game in the 50th minute of the matchup, assisted by Sebastian Lopez

Andres Dixon added insurance in the 74th minute with his first goal of the 2025 season (assisted by Jona Toussaint), as the excitement soared for him on senior night. 

Head Coach Thiago Pinto shared, “Really proud of the level of effort and preparedness this team has shown this season and especially as of late…IWU is a strong side and our guys put (on) another team performance with a competitive edge. Andres Dixn scoring our second goal tonight and seeing how our team celebrated really showed the strength of the team.”

Graduate Forward Julian Vargas Talamantes also shared, “Regular season champions secured! Massive effort from every single one of the team, proud of the fight, the focus, and the family we’ve built. One goal achieved, we keep pushing!” 

With the win, the 2025 Regular Season Crossroads League Champions will face the Mount Vernon Nazarene Cougars on Tuesday, Nov. 4 on Morey Field.
