SURPRISE, Ari. — The Bethel Men’s Volleyball squad (4-7, 0-6) took one set of four from NAIA fourth-ranked Ottawa University Arizona (13-1, 3-0) as the Pilots fell 3-1 Tuesday night.
Bethel kept it close in the first set as they only lost by five (25-20).
The second set is when OUAZ took control and defeated the Pilots 25-13.
Bethel had a great comeback set in the third as they took OUAZ by surprise and took them down 25-22.
OUAZ finished the game in the fourth set as Bethel fell 25-18 to close out their first game in Arizona.
Andrew Parra led the Pilots with 12 kills with Arthur Barreto close behind with eight. McGwire Eigenrauch slated 29 assists during the matchup. Sebastian Rodriguez recorded eight digs for Bethel.

Bethel continues their Arizona trip as they head to Mesa, Ari. to take on #7 Benedictine University Mesa at 8:00 p.m. EST.
