MISHAWAKA, Ind. — Andre Parra had a solid hitting night with 11 kills on only two errors for the Bethel Pilots (2-0) in their 3-1 victory over the College of Dupage Chaparrals (3-4) on Tuesday night.

Arthur Barreto hit a season-high 15 kills at a .453 clip with an incredible five aces and seven digs.

The Pilots had 18 aces on the night against the Chaparrals, the most in the program’s history. The previous record was 14 aces against Trinity International on Feb. 11, 2023.

The Chaparrals had 18 reception errors and hit at a clip of .082, which helped the Pilots late in the first and fourth set, where the morale of the College of DuPage had dwindled and capped off the Pilots second-straight victory in the Goodman Gymnasium.
