Bethel Women defeat Holy Cross 78-63

Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College women’s basketball team hosted crosstown rival Bethel College this evening in McKenna Arena. Both teams came into tonight’s game with a 1-0 record, but the Pilots were able to take the 78-63 win to move to 2-0, while Holy Cross stands at 1-1.

Key Notes of the Game:

– Women’s basketball score 26 field goals on 20 assists

– Holy Cross shot 45% from the field and 35% from three

– Turnovers hurt the Saints, as they committed 26 turnovers

– Holy Cross outrebounded the Pilots 31 to 24
