Bethel Women’s Volleyball races past Huntington to earn 19th

Mishawaka, Ind.— The Bethel University Women’s Volleyball team returned to their winning ways Friday night at the Wiekamp Athletic Center, defeating Huntington University in straight sets (25-17, 25-14, 25-21).
The Pilots came out strong the first two sets but found themselves in a hole early in the third down 0-5.

Bethel, who is receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll, caught the Foresters at 10-10 and then battled the rest of the way before pulling out the win to improve their overall record to 19-10 and 11-6 in the Crossroads League.
Hannah Wiess and Maddy Payne ended the night with 9 kills each to lead the way for Bethel.
