INSIDE THE BOXSCORES
The Pilots scored all of their runs in the sixth and seventh inning of game one. After falling behind 1-0, the Pilots responded with two runs in the bottom of the sixth before Asher’s heroics in the final at bat after the Foresters tied it at 2 in their half of the seventh.
Hannah Frady and Ryann Norris had nearly identical pitching lines on the day, with Frady earning the game one win and Norris the hard luck game two loser, receiving just two hits of support from her offense.
NEXT TIME OUT
The Pilots are scheduled to welcome Taylor to Gardner Field on Friday for a doubleheader at 3:00 pm, weather-permitting.
