COLUMBIA, SCÂ — The NCCAA Outdoor Championship has concluded with the Men’s Track and Field team taking fifth place of 22 teams, and the Women’s team took fourth of 19 teams on Friday at Columbia International University.
Richard Corbitt took third place in the Men’s 100-meter dash with a time of 10.66 and won the 200-meter dash, running a 21.52 in his senior season.
Rylin Bagarus secured fourth place in the 100-meter hurdles to score for the Pilots with a time of 14.59 and was runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles by running a time of 1:05.27.
Megan Cooper ran an 18:27.60 in the Women’s 5000-meter run to earn a runner-up finish on the distance side of the meet.
Nolan Sharick finished runner-up in the Men’s Long Jump and ended the event with a top jump of 6.62 meters.
Sophia Sumer won the Women’s Pole Vault with a 3.35-meter mark to be the third Pilot champion in the meet, and Jael VanderZwaag to runner-up with a 3.20-meter mark.
Markalah Barnes was a runner-up in the Women’s Shot Put with a 13.09-meter mark, and Alecia Parker took fourth with a 12.96-meter throw.
The Women’s 4×100 meter relay of Natalie Gonzalez, Brianna Hooton, Rylin Guiler, and Riley Hershberger took third place with a time of 48.29.
