Big Ten Conference Announces 2025 Big Ten Softball Players to Watch  51 players featured on preseason watch list

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference has announced the 2025 Softball Players to Watch list, as selected by the conference head coaches.

The watch list features 13 Big Ten All-Conference selections from 2024 and five All-Freshman selections. The list also includes the 2024 Freshman of the Year, Bridget Nemeth, from Penn State.

Jordy Bahl of Nebraska is also among the 2025 players to watch. Bahl is set to return to the field after missing last season due to injury. While playing for Oklahoma, Bahl was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2024 Women’s College World Series.

Six featured on the watch list from Oregon, UCLA and Washington received Pac-12 recognition in 2024, including co-Defensive Player of the Year Paige Sinicki of Oregon and a trio of All-Conference First Team selections from UCLA.

The 2025 season officially begins on Thursday, Feb. 6. The first series of conference play is scheduled for March 13-16.
