Big Ten Network Announces 2022-23 Big Ten Men’s Ice Hockey Schedule
23 Big Ten men’s ice hockey games on BTN and FOX Sports App
CHICAGO, Ill. – The Big Ten Network today announced its 2022-23 Big Ten men’s ice hockey schedule, with 23 games appearing on BTN and the FOX Sports app.
Action begins in late October with three consecutive top-20 matchups. BTN’s season opens on Friday, Oct. 28, as No. 2 Minnesota visits No. 11 Ohio State at 6:30 p.m. ET, ahead of No. 6 Michigan visiting No. 20 Penn State on Friday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. ET and No. 2 Minnesota taking on the No. 6 Wolverines on Thursday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m. ET.
Additional schedule highlights include a Friday night rivalry doubleheader on Dec. 9, as Michigan takes on Michigan State at 6:30 p.m. ET followed by Wisconsin at Minnesota at 9 p.m. ET. On Feb. 18, BTN will televise the Faceoff On The Lake between Michigan and Ohio State at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, the first-ever hockey game at the venue, at 4 p.m. ET.
Five Big Ten teams are ranked in the latest edition of the USCHO.com poll, with No. 2 Minnesota, No. 6 Michigan, No. 11 Ohio State and No. 14 Notre Dame and No. 20 Penn State leading the way.
More than 80 games will be available for streaming on B1G+, BTN’s home for non-televised events and on-demand archives. Subscription options include a conference hockey pass, which delivers all men’s and women’s ice hockey on B1G+ for $59.99 per month.
