Big Ten Network Announces 2024 Big Ten Volleyball Television Schedule
BTN set to air most matches in network history
CHICAGO, Ill. – The Big Ten Network today announced the 2024 Big Ten Volleyball broadcast schedule, featuring the most televised matches in network history. Nearly 70 volleyball broadcasts will air on BTN this year, in addition to over 200 matches streaming exclusively on B1G+.
Coverage of Big Ten volleyball begins Friday, Aug. 30, at 10:30 p.m. ET as Oregon hosts Pittsburgh in a matchup of elite programs. Non-conference play concludes on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 8 p.m. ET when Texas A&M travels to Madison to face Wisconsin.
Conference play begins on BTN with a doubleheader on Wednesday, Sept. 25, featuring Penn State at Purdue at 7 p.m. ET, followed by Minnesota hosting Wisconsin at 9 p.m. ET. Defending Big Ten champion Nebraska opens conference play on BTN against UCLA on Friday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. ET from Lincoln. A doubleheader on Wednesday, Oct. 9, features all four new Big Ten schools as Oregon hosts USC at 9 p.m. ET and UCLA travels to face Washington at 11 p.m. ET.
On Friday, Oct 18, The B1G Story: The Streak debuts at 10 p.m. ET, highlighting Penn State Volleyball and their record 109-match winning streak between 2007-10, including a run of 111-straight set wins. The one-hour documentary features the epic matches from the streak, several untold stories and in-depth interviews with key members of the program.
More than 200 matches will be streamed exclusively on B1G+, BTN’s subscription service for non-televised events and archives of classic games and original content. Fans can subscribe to B1G+ with an annual pass for $89.99 per year or a monthly pass for $12.99 per month. A multi-view option via the web will again allow for streaming of four concurrent matches at once. Apple TV users will also have access to the multi-viewer option via their connected devices.
In addition, Volleyball World will again offer its subscribers access to select Big Ten volleyball matches on VolleyballWorld.tv.
Coverage across all platforms also includes the return of At The Net, the Big Ten Network’s multiplatform, behind-the-scenes look at the personalities and programs across Big Ten volleyball. Digital coverage will be available via the Big Ten Network’s X (Twitter), Facebook, YouTube and Instagram platforms along with the @B1GVolleyball accounts on X, Instagram and YouTube. All television programming also streams live via the Fox Sports App, with a complete schedule below.
