Big Ten Recognizes Fall Academic All-Big Ten HonoreesĀ 

Over 2,000 students across seven fall sports earn recognition

 

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference recognized a total of 2,001 students on fall sports rosters who have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team Thursday.

 

The list of honorees includes 144 field hockey students, 772 football students, 163 men’s and 250 women’s cross country students, 185 men’s and 317 women’s soccer students and 170 volleyball students.

 

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of Nov. 1 for fall sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
