CENTIER BANK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK – 10-7-18

The Centier Bank Performers of the Week are Elkhart Memorial junior runner Morgan Dyer, Lowell junior runner Gabriel Sanchez, and Valparaiso junior runner Jack Acton.

In Saturday’s Elkhart cross country sectional meet held at Ox Bow Park, Dyer claimed the individual title with a time of 19:02 and in the process helped the Chargers capture the team championship for the first time in over 30 years. Memorial, which also won the boys’ crown, downed rival Elkhart Central, 52-67.

In Saturday’s Crown Point cross country sectional meet, Sanchez helped the Red Devils to the team title with a winning time of 16:24, while Action guided the Vikings to the team championship at Saturday’s New Prairie sectional meet with a first-place time of 16:24.

The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
