CENTIER BANK PERFORMER OF THE WEEK – 3-9-19

The Centier Bank Performers of the Week are Chesterton gymnasts Jordan Bush, Mia Park, and Sophia Hunzelman.

At Saturday’s IHSAA state gymnastics championship held at Noblesville High School, the senior Bush, sophomore Park, and junior Hunzelman helped the Trojans claim their second straight state crown with 113.875 points.

In addition to placing first in the floor competition with a score of 9.725, Bush was also second in the all-around event (38.125) and the recipient of the Mildred M. Ball mental attitude award. Park was the winner of the vault with a score of 9.700 and tied for first in the bars (9.600) with Hunzelman, who also claimed the top spot in the beam with a score of 9.725.

The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
