The Centier Bank Performers of the Week are LaPorte senior volleyball player Reilly Briggs and South Bend Adams senior wide receiver Tre Gray.
In Tuesday’s 3-1 win over Chesterton, the 5-foot-11 outside hitter delivered 16 digs and nine kills and then racked up an additional 19 kills and 11 digs Thursday in an impressive 3-0 victory over defending Class 4A state runner-up Crown Point.
In the Eagles’ 33-6 triumph over Lowell (Michigan) on Friday, the 5-foot-10, 160-pound Gray hauled in eight receptions for 227 yards and touchdown catches of 86, 11, and 78 yards.
The Centier Bank Performer of the Week is open to any male-female student athlete who participates in any IHSAA sanctioned sport and whose school is in the Centier Bank geographic area.
