The Centier Bank Performers of the Week are Crown Point senior running back Tyler Gomez and Penn junior soccer player Dorian Clayton.

In Friday’s 45-0 Duneland Conference victory over Lake Central, Gomez rushed 18 times for 192 yards and four touchdowns on runs of three, 27, one, and 65 yards to help the Bulldogs even their record at 2-2 and 1-1 in the DAC.

In Saturday’s 2-0 victory over No. 1 (Class 3A) Hamilton Southeastern in the Penn Invitational, Clayton accounted for both goals. He added an assist earlier in the day in a 1-0 win over Carroll (Fort Wayne) and tallied three goals in Wednesday’s 8-0 blanking of John Glenn for the Kingsmen (8-1-2).
