Notre Dame, Ind. The Holy Cross College men’s basketball team hosted crosstown rival Indiana University South Bend this afternoon in a CCAC matchup. Battling sickness, Bryce Crosen scored his 1,000 career point tonight to help give the Saints a 56-49 victory. With the win, Holy Cross improves to 15-10 overall and 9-6 in CCAC, while IUSB falls to 10-15 and 5-10.

Key Notes of the Game:

– Holy Cross shot 45% from the field and only 18% from three in the win

– The Saints limited the Titans to shooting 36% from the field and 23% from three

– Holy Cross won the turnover battle committing just 11 to IUSB’s 14 turnovers

– Bryce Crosen scored 8 points tonight to give him 1,006 career points in his Holy Cross College career

– Robby Jimenez recorded a double-double with a team high 14 points and 11 rebounds

– Larenzo Moore and Parker Sims each added 10 points in the Saints win
