Crossroads League Announces Athletes of the Week | December 26-January 1

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league’s top individual performances from December 26 through January 1. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week’s winners.
Women’s Basketball Player of the Week
Karlee Feldman, Grace
Feldman posted double-doubles in each of RV Grace’s blowout victories while averaging 20.0 points, 17.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. The junior center shot 51.6 percent from the field and 80.0 percent from the free throw line.
Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Taeshon Cherry, Marian
Cherry helped No. 14 Marian to a pair of wins with 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals per outing. The senior shot 56.7 percent from the field, 42.9 percent from deep and 88.9 percent from the charity stripe.
