Crossroads League Announces Athletes of the Week | November 25-December 1

 

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League Athletes of the Week were announced on Monday, recognizing the league’s top individual performances from November 25 through December 1. Sports Information Directors from the league institutions nominate student-athletes for the awards and vote on each week’s winners.

Women’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Lilli Frasure, Indiana Wesleyan
Frasure netted a career-high 38 points on 16-of-23 shooting to power No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan past No. 10 Rio Grande by a 101-77 margin. Frasure flirted with a triple-double while shooting 69.6 percent, adding nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals to her 38 points.

 

Women’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Brea Garber, Indiana Wesleyan
Garber helped No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan to a 101-77 win over No. 10 Rio Grande with two blocks, one steal and four rebounds in the top-10 clash. The sophomore forward also added eight points and two assists without committing a turnover.

 

Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week
Bailey Conrad, Mount Vernon Nazarene

Conrad scored a career-high 29 points to lead Mount Vernon Nazarene to an 85-78 win over Campbellsville. Conrad sank five-of-six shots from deep and added six rebounds, one steal and three blocks.

 

Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Week
Ian Scott, Grace
Scott highlighted No. 14 Grace’s, 104-69, blowout of IU Columbus by hauling in 16 rebounds to go with two blocks and one steal in his 24 minutes of action. Scott also posted 16 points and dished out six assists.
