Crossroads League Announces Men’s Soccer Award Winners

 

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its 2022 Men’s Soccer All-League honors on Monday, following No. 6 Bethel securing a third-straight regular season Crossroads League Championship and a second straight CL Tournament Championship.

 

Bethel’s Tim Noeding claimed the Crossroads League’s top honor, earning CL Player-of-the-Year recognition, with BU’s Joao de Oliveira being named the CL Co-Defensive Player of the Year and BU head coach, Thiago Pinto, claiming CL Coach-of-the-Year honors.

 

The Crossroads League’s remaining top honors included Martim Sequeira of Grace being named the CL Offensive Player of the Year, Joe Pizarro of Indiana Wesleyan being named the CL Midfielder of the Year, Mateo Conci of Grace being voted the CL Co-Defensive Player of the Year and Nathan Ntalu of Spring Arbor being selected as the CL Newcomer of the Year.

 

In addition to those major honors, 22 student-athletes were named as Crossroads League First-Team selections, with 16 others taking home Crossroads League Honorable Mention honors.

The All-Crossroads League awards are voted on by the CL’s head men’s soccer coaches.
