Crossroads League Announces Men’s Soccer Award Winners

 JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its 2023 Men’s Soccer All-League honors on Monday, following No. 9 Bethel securing a fourth-straight regular season Crossroads League Championship and a third straight CL Tournament Championship.

Bethel’s Thiago Pinto was named the CL Coach of the Year and Andres Latorre secured CL Midfielder-of-the-Year recognition to highlight the postseason awards for BU. In addition to those two major honors, seven Pilots were named as CL First-Team standouts.

The Crossroads League’s remaining top honors included Martim Sequeira of Grace being named the CL Player of the Year, Brandon Nyagurungo of Indiana Wesleyan being tabbed the CL Offensive Player of the Year, Diogo Lopes of Grace earning Defensive Player-of-the-Year honors and Huntington’s Sam Dolobaipu being selected as the CL Newcomer of the Year.

In addition to those major honors, 22 student-athletes were named as Crossroads League First-Team selections, with 15 others taking home Crossroads League Honorable Mention honors.

The All-Crossroads League awards are voted on by the CL’s head men’s soccer coaches.
