CL Baseball Earns 23 CSC Academic All-District Selections

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League recently placed 23 student-athletes on the 2023 College Sports Communicators NAIA Baseball Academic All-District Team. Taylor, Grace and Indiana Wesleyan all posted five honors, with Mount Vernon Nazarene and Goshen collecting four each.

The CSC Academic All-District award is given to student-athletes with a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and at least one full year at their current institution. Individuals must have been nominated by their Sports Information Department, must have reached sophomore status academically and must have played in at least half of their team’s current season as a primary contributor.

Each team is allowed up to five nominations for baseball, with every CSC Academic All-District recipient advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Those awards will be voted on by members of CSC from around the nation and will be announced on June 7.
