CL Women’s Soccer Claims 33 CSC Academic All-District Awards
JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League recently placed 33 student-athletes on the 2023 College Sports Communicators NAIA Women’s Soccer Academic All-District Team. Goshen, Mount Vernon Nazarene and Taylor led the way, with six awards each.
The CSC Academic All-District award is given to a student-athlete who maintains a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while having reached sophomore status academically and having played in at least 90 percent, or started in 66 percent of their team’s contests throughout the current season. Individuals must also have been nominated by their Sports Information Department to make the list.
Each men’s and women’s soccer team is allowed up to six nominations, with selected CSC Academic All-District recipients advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Those awards will be voted on by members of CSC from around the nation and will be announced on December 20.
