Eight-Match Win Streak Snapped at Thomas More for No. 17 Volleyball
CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – Taylor stepped outside of Crossroads League play for the first time since September 4 and suffered just its second non-league setback of the season with a four-set loss at Thomas More.
The Trojans hit .314 in the opening set and scored a 25-21 victory, but had just 12 more kills than hitting errors over the next three sets. Thomas More (17-3) took full advantage, winning those games 25-20, 25-17, 25-21 to hand TU just its third loss of the season.
Ryan Czerniak and Amanda Adams paced the attack with a combined 26 kills and Adams added 11 digs for a double-double. Grace Isaacs and Jaylynn Dunsmore each chipped in eight terminations, with Kacy Bragg posting 46 assists, seven digs and two aces. Stephaney Fifield added 19 digs and Nikki Parrett ended with 12.
No. 17 Taylor (20-3) will look to bounce back on Saturday, with a 2:00 pm start at Georgetown (6-11).
