Indiana head coach Teri Moren
“I love the start we got off too. I think you guys would agree, it was hot I loved how we shared the ball in the first quarter. I loved how fast we played. We knew we had to get out of the gates early. We had to strike first. We talked a lot about being the more aggressive team, so I loved our mindset in the first quarter. As the game started to settle in,. Michigan especially in the second half, started to settle in as well. The good part was that we had the lead and they really forced us to do some different things offensively and what I learned about our team is that we have to be better at being able to execute against pressure and not be forced to get out of some of our continuity offense that we want to run. Syd(ney Parrish) said get back on track tonight in the first half, which was which was great. Mack(enzie Holmes), had a good night as well, except for the turnovers. Sara (Scalia), I thought shared the ball. A lot different people stepped up and gave us great minutes. We got into foul trouble, so we had to play lots of different combinations out there. To give up only one three pointer to a team like Michigan, that averages right around eight made threes a game, was pretty terrific as well. They are an eleven-plus on the on the boards and we won that battle tonight, so great win for our program and for our team. I’m really proud of our guys and how they just came out from the from the from the jump.”
