Four Trojans Achieve NAIA Scholar-Athlete Status

KANSAS CITY –  The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its collection of NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards for the 2023 Baseball season on Thursday, in which four Trojans came home with the national honor.
Norbie Fernandez, Joe Lokos, Jack Ross, and Kade Vander Molen each earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards one day prior to Taylor commencing NAIA Baseball World Series action in Lewiston, Idaho, on Friday, May 26, at 11:35 am ET.
In order to be eligible for NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative minimum grade-point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, while having attended one full year at their current institution.
