Grace’s season ends at NAIA tournament

MOBILE, Ala. – Another memorable season for Grace’s men’s tennis team reached its conclusion on Wednesday.

The No. 14 seed Lancers lost to No. 3 Keiser 4-0 in the Second Round of the 2025 NAIA National Championships.

Grace was making its third trip to the NAIA Second Round since 2021; the Lancers end their sterling season with a 19-4 record.

Keiser earned the doubles’ point on Wednesday and never looked back.

Pablo Gregori and Salva Pons held a slight 3-2 edge at No. 1 doubles. But their match was cut short after Keiser won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to clinch the opening point.

The Seahawks (17-2) proved their ranking with a strong performance in singles. Keiser won in straight sets at No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5 singles, ending the match 4-0 to advance to the national quarterfinals.

The Lancers end the year as three-time defending champions in the regular season of the Crossroads League. Grace has also won the Crossroads League Tournament for three straight years.

Grace qualified for the NAIA National Championships for the fifth time in program history and third straight time.
