Hickey Named MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year; Five Named to Scholar-Athlete Team

Valpo volleyball senior libero Emma Hickey (Granger, Ind./Penn) was honored for her stellar work both on the volleyball court and in the classroom Tuesday, as she was named the Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Hickey was joined by four of her teammates on the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team.

On the court, Hickey was recognized as the MVC Libero of the Year and a First Team All-MVC performer this year.
