Historic Collection of State Finals Programs added to IHSAA.org

A large collection of historic state finals programs from decades of championship events has been uploaded and is now available to the public on IHSAA.org.

In recent months, nearly 900 programs across 23 sports dating back to the earliest years of the Indiana High School Athletic Association, have been converted and digitized for online viewing.

The publications, most containing playing schedules, rosters of participants, officials assignments and more, are arranged by school year and season allowing an individual to research Indiana high school sports history.

Dating back to the late 1960s, nearly all programs in every IHSAA‐sponsored sport are available including the advent of girls sports in the 1970s. Most of the 108 years of the boys basketball state tournament are represented with the oldest program from 1913.

Boys track and field, the oldest sport and first held in 1904, has a complete collection back to 1946 with three more viewable from 1942, 1931 and even 1915.

The webpage may be accessed by hovering over the “Resources” tab at the far right of the menu bar  (see photo at right) and choosing “State Finals Programs” from the dropdown menu or use this direct link:
