HOLY CROSS COLLEGE Athlete of the Week- Perry Gregg, Oscar Wait, and Naithalin Golmei

This week, we celebrate Perry Gregg from Chicago, IL, for his outstanding performance in singles competition. After losing the first set to his opponent, Chappel from Cleveland State, Perry showed incredible resilience and determination. He fought back to win the match with a final score of 2-6, 6-3, 10-6, demonstrating his ability to thrive under pressure and ultimately clinching the championship title.

We also want to recognize the dynamic doubles team of Oscar Wai from Hong Kong, China, and Naithaolin Golmei from Tyler, TX. In a thrilling championship match against Ramesh and Fletcher from Bellarmine, they secured victory with a narrow score of 7-5. Their exceptional teamwork and strategic play were key to their success, further enhancing Holy Cross College’s reputation in collegiate tennis.

Congratulations to Perry, Oscar, and Naithaolin on their impressive achievements!
