FIRST HALF

At halftime, Holy Cross trails Calumet 26-31 in a closely contested matchup. The Saints were led by Joey Garwood (Elkhart, Indiana / Penn HS), who tallied 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting, including two three-pointers. Justin O’Neal (Dayton, Ohio / Dunbar HS) contributed 8 points, going 4-for-6 from the free-throw line, while AJ Roseman (Indianapolis, Indiana / Bishop Chatard HS) provided an efficient 4 points off the bench. Davide Brembilla (Alghero, Italy / Don Bosco Prep) made his presence felt on the boards, grabbing a team-high 8 rebounds. SECOND HALF

Despite a hard-fought second half, Holy Cross narrowly fell to Calumet 58-57 in a nail-biting finish. Justin O’Neal delivered an impressive performance, scoring 19 points on 6-of-9 shooting, including a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc and 4-for-5 from the free-throw line. Phil Robles ii (South Bend, Indiana / Purdue Fort Wayne) added 5 points, while Joey Garwood contributed 2 points and played a key role defensively. AJ Roseman and Joe Kelly (Fort Wayne, Indiana / Bishop Dwenger HS) provided valuable support, with Kelly securing 5 rebounds. The Saints shot 34.5% from the field and improved their free-throw shooting to 72.7%, but ultimately, Calumet managed to hold on in the final moments.
