The Saints showed grit and composure throughout a tightly contested game that featured eight ties and four lead changes. After trailing 38–37 at halftime, Holy Cross battled back in the second half behind steady guard play and timely shot-making. Jayden Sanders‘ late free throws and defensive effort helped push the game into overtime tied at 75–75.

Once in the extra period, the Saints took full control. Holy Cross outscored IU Columbus 14–6 in overtime, shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the field while locking in defensively.

Jayden Sanders delivered a standout performance, leading all scorers with 25 points, including going 10-of-11 from the free-throw line and knocking down a crucial three in overtime.
