Holy Cross Women’s earns tie vs Olivet Nazarene 1-1

The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team faced off against Olivet Nazarene at home on Wednesday, October 9th, resulting in a hard-fought 1-1 tie. After an early goal from Abigail Fouts, assisted from a corner kick from Avery Peter, in the second minuet of the match, the Saints consede a goal in the 40th minuet, leaving the half 1-1. The second half left both teams scoreless, leaving the final score in a 1-1 tie.

Holy Cross goalkeeper Madeleine Agee showcased her skills, recorded saving 8 shots during the match, keeping the Saints competitive throughout the game.

 

NEXT TIME OUT:
The Saints will look to bounce back as they face off against St. Ambrose. Kickoff set for 12:00 PM, and the Holy Cross student-fan section, the Dog Pound, will have yard games and Franky’s Taco Truck out at both the Women’s and Men’s matchs!
