Holy Cross Women’s Soccer battles to draw with Roosevelt

Arlington Heights, Ill. The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team traveled to Roosevelt University this evening for a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference matchup. Despite being outshout 9-2 in the first half, the Holy Cross defense held strong and the game entered halftime with a score of 0-0. In the second half, neither team were able to score as the game with end 0-0 after 90 minutes. After 10 minutes of the first overtime, the score remained the same 0-0 and would enter the second overtime. A similar story as in the first 100 minutes of action, with the final horn buzzing with a final score of 0-0. The game ended in a 0-0 tie. With the tie, Holy Cross stands at 8-4-2 and 5-3-1 in conference play, while Roosevelt moves to 6-6-1 and 3-4-1 in conference play.
