HOLY CROSS WOMEN’S SOCCER FALLS AT TRINITY CHRISTIAN

Palos Heights, Ill. The Holy Cross College women’s soccer team continued their Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play this afternoon when they traveled to Palos Heights, Illinois to face the Trinity Christian College Trolls. It was a slow start for both teams early in the match, but the Trolls were able to get the scoring started in the 32nd minute. Soon after the first goal, the Trolls found the back of the net again in the 36th minute. The Trolls would have a 2-0 lead going into the half. Midway through the second half, the Trolls kept the momentum with a goal in the 62nd minute. With the 3-0 loss, the Saints are now 3-4-6 overall and 2-4-2 in conference play, while the Trolls improve to 7-3-4 and 6-1-2.
