Fighting Illini’s Eileen Murphy, Hawkeyes’ Hannah Drkulec, Spartans’ Gia Wahlberg and Boilermakers’ Marissa Bova are the first weekly honorees of the 2019 season

Offensive Player of the Week

Gia Wahlberg, Michigan State

Tied a Big Ten record with four goals (on five shots), all in the first half of Michigan State’s 5-1 win over Marshall on Sunday

The four goals were the first of her career, the first time a Spartan scored four times in the first half of an MSU home game, and the first four-goal outing by a Spartan since Aug. 25, 2006 (Lauren Hill against Western Michigan)
