Central Indiana is 3-1 all-time in State Championships, defeated St. Joe 3-2 in 2017, Evansville 4-2 in 2019, and Crown Point 1-0 in 2022, and lost 4-2 to Columbus in 2021.

Columbus lost to the Fort Wayne Vipers in 2A Final last season.  6-5 all-time in State Championships (beat CIK 4-2 in 2021, Leo 4-0 in 2018, Noblesville 3-1 in 3A in 2008, Brebeuf Jesuit 5-2 in 2002, Penn 5-2 in 1997, Bloomington (1A) 10-4 IN 1994; and lost 6-3 to Penn in 3A final in 2015, lost 4-2 to Carroll in 4A in 2011, lost 7-2 to Carmel Gold in 4A in 2007, lost 5-1 to Snider in 1977 (one class system).

Adams: 2-2 All-Time in State Championship Games.  Longest Appearance Drought of all of the State finalists, having last made the championship game in 2017 when they were a combined team with Marian (lost to Bishop Dwenger 7-4 in 2A Final).  Defeated Crown Point 3-1 in 2013 2A, Bloomington 4-3 in 2003 2A, lost 6-3 to Brebeuf Jesuit in 2006 1A.
