Indiana Sweeps Weekly Women’s Indoor Track & Field Awards

Hoosiers’ Natalie Price and Anna Watson receive this week’s honors

 

Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

Natalie Price, Indiana

So. – Granville, Ohio – Granville

• Finished first in the 400-meter run at the Indiana vs. Tennessee Duals on Jan. 5, recording the nation’s third-fastest time this year (and quickest in the Big Ten) at 54.69 seconds

• Helped the Hoosiers’ 4×400 relay team to a second-place finish at last week’s dual meet in a time of 3:45.37

• Earns her first career Indoor Track Athlete of the Week award

• Last Indiana Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week: Katherine Receveur (Feb. 21, 2018)

Anna Watson, Indiana

So. – Lewis Center, Ohio – Olentangy Orange

• Won the pole vault title at last week’s Indiana vs. Tennessee Duals, setting a meet record by clearing 4.08 meters

• Currently has the top height in the Big Ten and the fourth-highest mark in the nation this year

• Collects her first career Indoor Field Athlete of the Week award
