Hoosiers’ Ciezki, Bruins’ Rice and Trojans’ Davidson earn weekly awards

 

Co-Player of the Week

Shay Ciezki, Indiana

Sr. – Guard – Buffalo, N.Y. – St. Mary’s

  • Put up 31 points while shooting 63.2 percent with nine rebounds and a season-high five steals at Wisconsin
  • Led the Hoosiers with 29 points and 12 rebounds against Purdue for her second double-double of the season
  • Her team-best eight assists was just shy of a triple-double
  • Claims her third Big Ten Player of the Week recognition

Big Ten Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Oluchi Okananwa, MD: Averaged 18.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals in two wins for the Terps, including an upset of No. 12 Michigan State

Olivia Olson, MICH: Recorded a pair of 20-point performances to become the 32nd member of the 1,000-point club at Michigan in just 58 games, which tied for the third-fastest in program history

Jaloni Cambridge, OSU: Contributed 22.5 points over two wins to earn her 1,000th point at Ohio State

  • Paced the Trojans at Northwestern behind 21 points, six assists, three rebounds, two steals and a block
  • Scored a career-high 27 points with eight rebounds and eight assists at Illinois
