Player of the Week
Mitch Jebb, Michigan State
SS – So. – Saginaw, Mich. – Swan Valley
• Belted a pair of home runs, including a two-run walk-off home run, to cap the Spartans’ comeback in a 10-8 win over Cincinnati on March 11
• Hit .412 (7-17) in four games last week, with three runs, five RBI and two stolen bases
• Had an .824 slugging percentage and a .429 on-base percentage on the weekend, notching at least one hit in all four games to extend his streak to all 14 games this season and a 21-game hitting streak dating back to last season
• Wins his first career Big Ten Player of the Week award

Ryan Ramsey, Maryland
P – Jr. – Montvale, N.J. – Pascack Hills
• Set a new career high with 13 strikeouts in Maryland’s 12-5 win over Cornell on March 13
• Threw 6.0 innings while giving up just one hit and not allowing a run
• Improved to 4-0 on the season with a 2.84 ERA and 26 strikeouts in 25.1 innings pitched
• Wins his first career Big Ten Pitcher of the Week award

LHP – Andover, Mass. – Tabor Academy
• Recorded a complete game shutout of St. Thomas on Opening Day (March 13) in Evanston, Ill.
• Struck out 11 in 7.0 innings to help seal the Wildcats’ 9-0 victory
• Improved his season ERA to 1.71 with 33 strikeouts in 21.0 innings pitched
• Wins his first Big Ten Pitcher of the Week award

• Hit .500 (5-10) with five runs and four RBI during Iowa’s three-game road series at UC Irvine
• Posted a .571 on-base and .800 slugging percentage on the weekend, hitting safely in all three games, running his hitting streak to 11 games and his on-base streak to 14 games
• Had multi-hit games in two of the three contests, his sixth and seventh such games this season
• Wins his second Big Ten Freshman of the Week award
