ELGIN, Ill.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (19-8, 12-8 CCAC) won their final regular season home game over the Judson University Eagles (6-22, 3-17 CCAC) by a final score of 79-58.

IU South Bend came out in the first quarter with their best offensive period of the game, scoring 27 points while shooting better than 60% from the field to take a 27-12 lead over Judson through 10 minutes of play.

The Titans picked up right where they left off, opening the second quarter on a 10-2 run and ultimately outscoring the Eagles by seven points in the period to go into halftime leading by 22 points.

IUSB dropped 22 points as a team in the third period while featuring seven different players to score in the quarter to help them take a 68-41 advantage heading into the final ten minutes.

The fourth quarter was the only period in which the Titans were outscored, however a late rally from the Eagles still wasn’t enough as the Titans defeated Judson by a final score of 79-58.

The IU South Bend Titans offense featured two players to score in double figures, led by guard Jazmen Watts who finished with 19 points.

Watts’ 19 points came on better than 50% shooting from the field (6-11) and also securing seven rebounds in only 19 minutes of playing time.

The other Titan to score in double figures was Tenleigh Phelps who finished with 16 points.

Phelps’ 16 points came on just three missed shots (8-11) while playing in only 18 minutes of Saturday’s regular season finale.

The Titans return to play on Wednesday, February 26th, as they await their opponent on their quarterfinal match up in the CCAC Conference Tournament.
