SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (2-0, 0-0 CCAC) won their second consecutive game against the Indiana University East Red Wolves (0-2, 0-0 Conf.) by a final score of 78-68.

Tied at 9-9 just over half way through the first quarter, the Titans closed out the period on a 13-7 run to take a 22-16 lead into the second quarter.

A back and forth second quarter saw IU East outscore the Titans by one point but still IU South Bend took a 42-37 lead into the half.

The IU East Red Wolves ran into foul trouble early in the third quarter, allowing the Titans to score 10 straight points on free throws in the quarter to outscore IU East by three in the period.

IU East scored the first five points of the fourth quarter to pull within one possession of the Titans, but that was as the close Red Wolves would come with the Titans pulling away late to bring home a 78-68 victory.

The Titans offense was again led by Tenleigh Phelps and Jazmen Watts as Phelps finished with a game high 20 points and 11 rebounds to record her first double-double of the season while Watts finished with 14 points and also added six rebounds and five steals. Together, the duo finished a perfect 22-22 from the free throw line.

Freshman guard Bradie Chambers finished with 12 points, shooting 40% from the field and also added four rebounds and four assists while senior guard Sullivan Kessler led the team in assists with five while also scoring nine points.

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, November 9th, when they travel to Adrian, Michigan, to take on Siena Heights University at 6:00 PM ET.
