IUSB WOmen’s Volleyball falls to Cumberland University to conclude non-conference play

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (3-19, 3-6 CCAC) fell to the Cumberland University Phoenix (16-14, 5-3 CCAC) in four sets by scores of 19-25, 22-25, 25-22, and 21-25.

The Indiana University South Bend offense was led by senior hitter Abby Seeger who finished with a team high 10 kills.

Just behind Seeger was junior hitter Ryleigh Grott who finished with nine kills, followed by Alexis Joyner and Madison Figg who both finished with eight kills.

Setters Emma Knowlton and Brynn Lake once again both tallied double digit assists.

Knolwton led the team with 20 assists while Lake was not far behind, finishing Friday’s contest with 13 assists.

Three Titans concluded the contest with double digit digs, led by Sydney Hanna who led the team with 21.

Freshman Brynn Lake posted who second consecutive double-double adding 10 digs to her 13 assists.

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Saturday, October 21st, when they host the Lakers of Roosevelt University at 4:00 PM in the Student Activities Center.
