Phelps Earns CCAC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

SOUTH BEND — Indiana University South Bend women’s basketball standout Tenleigh Phelps has been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday, following a pair of strong performances that helped the Titans to two victories.

Phelps averaged 22.5 points per game across the week while shooting an efficient 58.6 percent from the field. She opened the stretch with 22 points, five rebounds, and four assists in a home win over Bethel (Ind.), knocking down 4-of-5 three-point attempts and going a perfect 2-for-2 at the free throw line.

She followed with an even bigger outing in a CCAC win over Governors State, scoring 23 points to go along with six rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal. Phelps attacked the paint all afternoon, finishing 9-of-16 from the floor and 5-of-6 at the free throw line.

The pair of 20-point efforts made for numbers four and five of the season for Phelps, who finished the week averaging 17.6 points per game on the season.

This marks the first CCAC weekly honor of the season for Phelps and adds another accolade to a strong 2025-26 campaign for the IU South Bend women’s basketball program.

The Titans return to action on Saturday, facing IU East on the road at 2:00 pm.
