Volleyball Sweeps Maple Leafs to Continue Hot Stretch

MARION, Ind. – Nine straight wins for Indiana Wesleyan University volleyball has the Wildcats up to 16-10 this season and second place in the Crossroads League at 11-3. IWU picked up their ninth consecutive victory with a 3-0 win over visiting Goshen (Ind.) on Wednesday in Luckey Arena.

LEADING THE WAY

Ana Collar produced another great performance with a match-high 14 kills in addition to 10 digs and 2 block assists. Her 14 kills were 6 more than any other player in the match.

SPREADING THE JOY

Nine different Wildcats had at least one kill. Everyone was productive as the team finished with 44 kills and a .320 attack percentage – the second highest percentage of the season. During the third set, all five Wildcat freshmen saw the floor at the same time.

Indiana Wesleyan has a rare weekend off. The Wildcats return to action a week from tonight in Crossroads League action at No. 18 Saint Francis (Ind.). First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Fort Wayne.
