HIGH FIVES ALL AROUND

Glenn (16-10): Brycen Hannah poured in 27 points in the Falcons’ 58-47 win over Culver Academy for their first sectional crown since 2005.

Mishawaka (20-6): Cooper Pritchett’s 21 points helped the Cavemen earn their first sectional championship since 1986 with a 77-68 win over Michigan City.

NorthWood (24-2): Ian Raasch guided the No. 1 (Class 3A) Panthers to their fourth straight sectional crown with a 57-24 win over No. 7 (Class 3A) West Noble.

Penn (26-1): Joe Smith netted 14 points as the No. 2 (Class 4A) Kingsmen made it back-to-back sectional titles with a 75-62 win over Northridge.

Washington (18-5): Erick Nocentelli came up with 11 of his 15 points in the No. 9 (Class 3A) Panthers’ 62-61 overtime win over Saint Joseph to claim their first sectional title since 2010.

Adams (8-14): Jeremiah Love finished with 14 points in the Eagles’ 70-62 loss to Michigan City.

Bremen (2-21): Camden Hickman tallied nine points in the Lions’ 67-36 loss to Glenn.

Clay (11-12): Tyrese Jones managed 21 points in the Colonials’ 69-44 loss to No. 2 (Class 3A) Marian.

Concord (11-11): Braeden Messenger’s 19 points were not enough for the Minutemen in their 51-47 double-overtime loss to Northridge.

Elkhart (6-17): Rodney Gates registered 18 points in the Lions’ 83-37 loss to No. 2 (Class 4A) Penn.

Goshen (11-12): Ryan Eldridge added 11 points in the RedHawks’ 55-37 loss to No. 2 (Class 4A) Penn.

Jimtown (5-18): Bishop Williams ended with 19 points in the Jimmies’ 76-52 loss to Saint Joseph.

Marian (23-3): Deaglan Sullivan ended his high school career with 21 points in the No. 2 (Class 3A) Knights’ 43-41 loss to No. 9 (Class 3A) Washington.

New Prairie (9-14): Gavin Gonzalez had six points in the Cougars’ 50-27 loss to Saint Joseph.

Northridge (15-11): Brady Scholl contributed eight points for the Raiders against Penn.

Plymouth (10-13): Davis Wray registered 15 points in the Pilgrims’ 61-35 loss to Mishawaka.

Riley (13-10): Brandon Williams finished with 18 points in the Wildcats’ 71-58 loss to Mishawaka.

Saint Joseph (12-15): Chase Konieczny scored 24 points for the Indians against Washington.

Warsaw (14-10): Jaxson Gould closed out his career with 18 points in the Tigers’ 55-51 loss to Northridge.

Wawasee (9-14): Maddux Everingham had six points in the Warriors’ 52-23 loss to No. 1 (Class 3A) NorthWood.

STAY TUNED

Chesterton (20-5) vs. Penn (26-1) (Class 4A Michigan City): The Trojans are looking for their second straight regional title, while Penn’s last crown came in 2019.

Glenn (16-10) vs. Washington (18-5) (Class 3A Washington): The Falcons’ last regional crown came in 2005, while Washington has not celebrated one since 1965.

Hammond Central (25-1) vs. Mishawaka (20-6) (Class 4A Michigan City): The No. 3 Wolves have never won a regional championship, while Mishawaka’s last title occurred in 1955.

NorthWood (24-2) vs. Lake Station (22-3) (Class 3A Washington): The Panthers are in pursuit of their first regional crown since 2007, while Lake Station are going for their first championship.
