ONE STEP CLOSER TO GAINBRIDGE FIELDHOUSE

Crown Point (20-5): Mason Darrell recorded 14 points to guide the Bulldogs to their first regional championship since 1998 with a 55-42 overtime decision over Warsaw in the Class 4A Michigan City final.

Elkhart Christian (17-9): Aiden Hibbard poured in 32 points, including the buzzer-beating layup, to help the Eagles to their first regional championship with a 58-57 win over Tri-County in the Class 1A North Judson finale.

Fairfield (20-6): Tyson Frey netted 10 points, including the game-winning bucket with three seconds left, to lift the Falcons to their first regional title since 2007 with a 41-39 win over Hammond Bishop Noll in the Class 3A Triton championship.

Marquette Catholic (12-15): Colson Dobre accounted for 14 points and nine rebounds to help the Blazers to their second straight regional with a 57-32 victory over DeMotte Christian in the Class 1A Washington final.

Mishawaka (20-7): Cooper Pritchett came up with nine points as the Cavemen claimed their first regional title since 1955 with a 68-52 decision over East Chicago in the Class 4A Michigan City finale.

North Judson (16-9): Blayne Wilcox’s 10 points lifted the host Bluejays to their first Class 2A regional since 2009 with a 47-43 victory over Gary 21st Century.

Saint Joseph (18-9): Jayce Lee managed 17 points as the Huskies picked up their first regional crown since 2021 with a 53-38 triumph over Glenn in the Class 3A Washington final.

DeMotte Christian (19-8): Tony Bos finished with 10 points for the Knights against Marquette Catholic.

East Chicago Central (22-5): Dominique Murray was limited to 16 points for the Cardinals against Mishawaka.

Gary 21st Century (20-7): Lemetrius Williams registered 14 points for the Cougars against North Judson.

Glenn (13-14): Chase Miller accounted for 18 points for the Falcons against Saint Joseph.

Hammond Bishop Noll (20-8): Caleb Parks recorded 17 points for the Warriors against Fairfield.

Warsaw (19-6): Robbie Finlinson’s 14 points were not enough for the Tigers against Crown Point.

Westview (20-6): Luke Helmuth contributed 18 points in the Warriors’ 50-45 against Wabash in the Class 2A Triton finale.

NEXT ASSIGNMENT

Crown Point (20-5) vs. Fishers (26-1) (Class 4A Elkhart): The Bulldogs are back in the semistate for the second time, while Fishers is making its first appearance.

Delta (22-6) vs. Fairfield (20-6) (Class 3A Logansport): The Eagles are looking for their first semistate title since 2002, while Fairfield returns for the second time.

Elkhart Christian (17-9) vs. Fort Wayne Canterbury (16-9) (Class 1A Michigan City): The Eagles are in the semistate round for the first time, while Fort Wayne Canterbury’s previous trip came in 2016.

Fort Wayne Wayne (22-3) vs. Mishawaka (20-7) (Class 4A Elkhart): The Generals advanced to the semistate for the second straight year, while Mishawaka is here for the third time.

Liberty Christian (17-9) vs. Marquette Catholic (12-15) (Class 1A Michigan City): The Lions’ lone semistate crown came in 2016, while Marquette Catholic captured back-to-back titles in 2014 and 2015.

North Judson (16-9) vs. Wapahani (24-2) (Class 2A Lafayette): The Bluejays are in the semistate for the fifth time, while Wapahani is making its second visit in a row.

Peru (16-10) vs. Saint Joseph (18-9) (Class 3A Logansport): The Bengal Tigers return to the semistate for the first time since 1998, while Saint Joseph’s last championship came in 1993.

Wabash (21-5) vs. Fort Wayne Blackhawk (21-6) (Class 2A Lafayette): The Apaches return to the semistate for the first time since 1956, while Blackhawk is back for the second straight season.
