HEADED TO GAINBRIDGE FIELDHOUSE

Bethesda Christian (23-7): Seth Wagler exploded for 17 points in the No. 8 Patriots’ 63-38 triumph over No. 1 Barr-Reeve in the Class 1A Washington final.

Brownstown Central (24-5): Jack Benter overcame flu-like symptoms to rack up 38 points in the No. 1 Braves’ 66-56 win over Parke Heritage to claim their first semistate championship since 2009 in the Class 2A Southport finale .

Fishers (28-1): Keenan Garner tallied 16 points and seven rebounds to lift the top-ranked Tigers to their first semistate crown with a 69-61 win over Fort Wayne Wayne in the Class 4A Elkhart final.

Fort Wayne Canterbury (18-9): Tucker Day erupted for 18 points and six rebounds to help the Cavaliers to their first semistate title with a 56-53 win over Liberty Christian in the Class 1A Michigan City title game.

Indianapolis Ben Davis (23-5): K.J. Windham registered 14 points to help the No. 8 and defending state champion Giants to a 52-51 win over Jeffersonville at the Class 4A New Castle finale.

Saint Joseph (20-9): Chase Konieczny recorded 19 points as the Huskies earned their first semistate title since 1993 with 44-41 triple overtime win over No. 7 Delta in the Class 3A Logansport title affair.

Scottsburg (24-5): Dare Bowles poured in 18 points to help the No. 4 Warriors claim their first semistate championship with a 70-54 win against No. 6 and defending state runner-up Guerin Catholic in the Class 3A Seymour final.

Wapahani (26-2): Nate Luce added eight points to help the No. 2 Raiders pick up their first semistate crown with a 60-49 decision over No. 6 and defending state champion Fort Wayne Blackhawk in the Class 2A Lafayette Jeff finale.

Crown Point (20-6): Jack Svetich netted 11 points for the Bulldogs in their 48-37 loss to No. 1 Fishers in the Class 4A Elkhart semifinals.

Elkhart Christian (17-10): Lewy Eyob’s eight points were not enough for the Eagles in their 60-49 loss to Fort Wayne Canterbury in the Class 1A Michigan City semifinals.

Delta (23-7): D’Amare Hood came up with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles against Saint Joseph.

Fairfield (20-7): Carson Smith registered 12 points in the Falcons’ 54-45 loss to No. 7 Delta in the Class 3A Logansport semifinals.

Fort Wayne Blackhawk (22-7): Kellen Pickett was responsible for 24 points for the Braves against Wapahani.

Fort Wayne Wayne (23-4): Chase Barnes managed 23 points for the Generals against Fishers.

Liberty Christian (18-10): Devon Kelley ended his high school career with 13 points for the Lions against Fort Wayne Canterbury.

Marquette Catholic (12-16): Josiah Mays amassed 13 points for the Blazers in their 50-47 loss to Liberty Christian in the Class 1A Michigan City semifinals.

Mishawaka (20-8): Brady Fisher netted 15 points for the Cavemen in their 62-47 loss to Fort Wayne Wayne in the Class 4A Elkhart semifinals.

North Judson (16-10): Quinn Bales mustered 17 points in the Bluejays’ 48-28 loss to No. 2 Wapahani in the Class 2A Lafayette Jeff semifinals.

Wabash (21-6): Grant Ford chipped in 15 points for the Apaches in their 55-51 loss to No. 6 and defending state champion Fort Wayne Blackhawk in the Class 2A Lafayette Jeff semifinals.

FINAL EXAMS

Bethesda Christian (23-7) vs. Fort Wayne Canterbury (18-9) (Class 1A): The Patriots and Fort Wayne Canterbury are both playing in the state finals for the first time.

Brownstown Central (24-5) vs. Wapahani (26-2) (Class 2A): The Braves are back in the title game for the first time since 2009, while Wapahani is making its first appearance.

Indianapolis Ben Davis (23-5) vs. Fishers (28-1) (Class 4A): The Giants are going for their second title in a row and fifth overall, while Fishers had never even won a sectional until this season.

Scottsburg (24-5) vs. Saint Joseph (20-9) (Class 3A): The Warriors and Saint Joseph have both never played in the title game before.
